- Small and medium-sized enterprise are more appreciated by private funds under the quotes of “Unicorn”
According to the data, the private funds conducted 970 investigations this month, an increase of 109.5% from the previous month; a total of 709 private equity institutions participated in the survey during the month, and a total of 210 listed companies were surveyed.
From the distribution of the sector, since mid-February, driven by the "Unicorn" market, the GEM all the way up. The market started to turn their attention on the growth stocks opportunities. Private funds still focused on the small and medium-sized sectors this month. The degree of attention of the SME board and the GEM was 46.67% and 30.95% respectively, while the mainboard accounted for only 22.38%.
The top five industries which private funds pay attention to this month are machinery, electronics, computers, chemicals, and light manufacturing. The degree of concern of the pharmaceutical biotechnology industry, ranked sixth this month.
- The research of private funds focus heavily on TMT industries
According to the statistics, more than 80% of the 32 stocks which researched by more than 10 private equity funds this month belong to the small and medium-sized companies.
Among them, over half belong to the TMT industry.
The individual stock which attract the most attention was 300365.SZ. There were 25 private equity funds participating in the survey.
3、Private funds with 10b AUM also are actively research
Private funds with 10billions AUM did 90 on-site research on listed firms this months, showed they are actively seeking new investment targets .The number of surveys increased by 109.3% month-on-month, involving 64 listed companies, of which 73.44% belong to the small and medium-sized companies. In terms of the number of surveys, Star-Rock Investment (9 times), Greenwoods Assets (9 times), and DH Fund Assets (7 times) ranked in the top three.
The individual stock which attract the most attention was 600926.SH.
