China PTA Futures Weekly Report (February 25, 2019)

From February 18, 2019 to February 22, 2019:the closing price of the main contract (TA905 contract) of PTA futures on Friday was 6460 yuan, 68 yuan higher than the closing price of the last trading day of last week. The highest price for this week is 6556 yuan, and the lowest point is 6344 yuan.

This week (2019/2/18-2019/2/22), the total volume of the main contract was 10,383,628 lots, a decrease of 209,380 lots from last week. After the close of trading this Friday, the open interest of the main contract was 945,966 lots, a decrease of 106,984 lots from the

last trading day of last week.

11,685,102 lots of China PTA futures were traded during 2/18/2019 to 2/22/2019, and the weekly turnover (notional value) was 376,324 million yuan (RMB), approximately $56.04 billion. The average daily trading volume for the current week was 2,337,020 lots/day.
