The 35th Asia-Pacific Petroleum Conference was held in Singapore from September 9 to 11, 2019. The Shanghai Futures Exchange (hereinafter referred to as SHFE) and the Shanghai International Energy Exchange Center (hereinafter referred to as the INE) introduced to the world energy industry the operation of China's crude oil futures for more than a year through speeches, participation in discussions and exhibitions. This is also the first time that "Shanghai Crude Oil" has appeared publicly at Singapore Asia-Pacific Petroleum Conference since its listing.

Lufeng said that after more than a year's actual operation since the listing of crude oil futures, the overall situation has shown a good trend of "smooth trading, smooth settlement, smooth delivery, strict supervision, risk management in place, positive public opinion and preliminary function". Market transactions are stable and the effect of monthly rotation of main contracts is remarkable. By the end of August, more than 80,000 accounts have been opened. According to unilateral statistics, the average daily turnover of the whole market is 150,000 lots, with an average daily turnover value of 70.4 billion yuan. The maximum daily turnover on Dec. 7, 2018 is 359,800 lots, 17 times the initial turnover. The average daily holding capacity of the whole market is 24,200 lots, which is more than 10 times of the initial stage of listing. Next, according to the changes of spot market, the exchange will timely study and optimize deliverable oils, orderly promote the listing of Marker Price, TAS and Crude Oil Options, enhance the convenience of overseas participants in opening and trading crude oil futures, further reduce transaction costs, and continuously improve the sequence of energy products, including We will promote the listing of international low-sulfur fuel oil futures contracts.

The Asia-Pacific Petroleum Conference is an annual event for the global energy industry. 陆丰表示，原油期货上市以来，经过一年多的实际运行，总体呈现出“交易平稳、结算流畅、交割顺利、监查严格、风控到位、舆论正面、功能初步显现”的良好态势。市场交易平稳，主力合约逐月轮换效果显著，截止8月底累计开户超过8万个，按单边统计，全市场日均成交15万手，日均成交金额704亿元，其中2018年12月7日单日最高成交量达到35.98万手，是上市初期成交量的17倍。全市场日均持仓量2.42万手，也是上市初期的10倍以上。下一步，交易所将根据现货市场变化，适时研究优化可交割油种，有序推进日中交易参考价（Marker Price）、结算价交易机制（TAS）、原油期权的上市工作，提升境外参与者参与原油期货开户和交易的便利性，进一步降低交易成本，并不断完善能源类品种序列，包括推进国际化低硫燃料油期货合约上市。
